“Among Florida cities, Hollywood showed the highest increase at 8.5 percent to reach $1,422 and Fort Lauderdale increased 6.5 percent to reach the state’s top rent: $1,853.”
According to reports, Atlanta’s is one the hottest markets, with rent increases to be the 5th in the nation. “Rents in the area are up 4.4 percent, with the median rent of $1,394 ,” The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
